The inaugural Women in Safety conference on March 5 was a huge success, with close to 200 safety professionals in attendance. Speakers from organizations like ExxonMobil, Energy Safety Canada, BC Hydro and Suncor shared the best insights on hot topics like climbing the career ladder, boosting workplace mental health, finding or becoming a workplace mentor, the latest PPE developments and more. Now we're making plans to take things to the next level in 2021. Once more, we'll be uniting both the industry's female leaders and male allies for a day of speaker sessions, panel discussions, and personal stories aimed at empowering and boosting the careers of women in safety. It's all part of our mission to continue shaping the industry and provide the ultimate platforms to meet, discuss and strategize around the issues that matter to you. THANK YOU #WomenInSafetyCA womeninsafety.ca
