Poster Poster Safety Safety Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that affects many workers — notably first responders — and is caused by witnessing or experiencing actual or threatened death, serious injury or violence. Signs that someone may be experiencing PTSD include nightmares, uncontrollable memories, persistent fear and severe anxiety.
