FlexTex is the newest line of fl ame resistant (FR) fabrics under the Mount Vernon FR brand. Developed for increased com- fort and movability, FlexTex fabrics include an elastomeric fi bre that allows fabric to fl ex up to 14 per cent with a 97 per cent recovery, Mount Vernon said. FlexTex adds mobility to fabric with no reduction in FR protection, so work- ers experience increased freedom and range of motion. Mount Vernon FR FlexTex fabrics have a bilateral fl ex that allows them to elongate sideways and diagonally, eliminating any sagging or bagging.
