Students can offer a wide variety of benefits to an organization. As post-secondary students, in these placements, they already have some education and training related to the field. "They're able to bring new eyes to challenges or gaps that employers may have. They are also able to work on special projects or be able to provide some human resource capacity or support to employers," says McLachlan.
